callas software releases pdfaPilot 11.1

Switchboard from callas pdfaPilot Version 11

Berlin. callas software, a leading provider of automated PDF quality assurance and archiving solutions, today released a minor update for its pdfaPilot product line. pdfaPilot 11.1 introduces support for additional PDF standards, and a number of smaller adjustments and improvements.

pdfaPilot 11.1 now supports the latest version of electronic invoice standards such as Factur-X 1.0.06 (ZUGFeRD 2.2, XRechnung) to support modern invoicing and archival workflows. Next to that, pdfaPilot 11.1 also supports the latest GWG specifications, which is important for mixed workflows where printing PDF documents is important next to archiving them.

Compliance to standards has always been a cornerstone of our strategy. It’s important for our many OEM partners and end users alike,” says Dietrich von Seggern, Managing Director at callas software. “We endeavor to implement all relevant standards, whether they come from ISO (the International Standards Organization), the Ghent Workgroup (an international graphic-arts oriented standards organization), or if they are invoicing standards. With pdfaPilot 11.1, we’re pleased to be able to react so quickly on the release of the 2022 specifications from the Ghent Workgroup and these newest invoicing standards.”

You can find the full list of all new features and fixups in pdfaPilot 11.1 here.
