PORTICA implements fulfillment for TMG Clothing in record time

Kempen. TMG Clothing, manufacturer and dealer of high-quality workwear, has changed its fulfillment service provider within a very short time. In just three weeks, PORTICA designed all processes for reliable, same-day worldwide dispatch of orders received via the web shop and for preparatory services for fulfillment by Amazon – so-called Pre-FBA work.

“We were looking for a service provider who could handle the fulfillment of our B2C and B2B orders reliably and transparently,” said Tariq Mahmood, Managing Director of TMG Clothing. In addition, TMG Clothing required the new service provider to get the project up and running quickly and to be able to support the upcoming growth without any problems. “At PORTICA, we immediately had a good feeling,” says Tariq Mahmood. He explains: “PORTICA has the IT processes under control, has excellent quality management and offers scalable solutions”.

TMG Clothing and PORTICA quickly reached agreement. TMG’s shopware shop was connected to the PORTICA merchandise management system via an API interface. “This automatically initiates the worldwide dispatch of orders – for fast, efficient order processing,” explains Timothy Hausmann, Senior Manager E-Commerce at PORTICA. The shipments assembled in PORTICA’s warehouse are handed over to the carriers on the same day. “The clothing is delivered in sea freight containers from Asia. We take care of the container unloading and subsequent goods receipt,” describes Timothy Hausmann.

In addition, PORTICA supports sales via Amazon by performing Pre-FBA work. “For orders received via Amazon, Amazon provides fulfilment. We label the articles and deliver them to an Amazon warehouse according to specifications,” continues Timothy Hausmann. This means that TMG Clothing does not have to worry about the time-consuming process, but can focus on its core tasks.
